THE SPACE

We join the horses just east of Airdrie on an acreage owned by my parents Ellwood and Amy Sawby. Since 1978 "Sawby’s Quarter Horses” has grown to include a barn, indoor arena, two outdoor arenas, a corral system and a gorgeous backfield to enjoy in sessions. On the property, we can groom horses in a warm barn, learn how to lead them with a halter in the indoor arena, walk out in the pasture to join them as they graze, or interact with them over the fences in the corrals.  Conversations just seem a little more grounded and natural within these spaces.
